Mama’s Brooklyn will be Closed this week for coffee (but open at 5PM for dinner) to

get ready to launch lunch next week! Starting Feb 7th we will be open at 11AM for

lunch AND coffee. Bring your appetite, or laptop (free WiFi !) and come get some

good eats and delicious Intelligentsia coffee!

is all part of the East Village Eats: Culture Nosh and he will be alongside chefs from Hecho

En Dumbo and Veselkas!

Thanks so much for coming into Mama’s Food Shop after seeing us on the Food Network! We love having you in our dining rooms and all of the positive feedback you have been giving us- we really appreciate it!

Remember, we do have a second location in Williamsburg Brooklyn which serves the same delicious home cookin’ that the East Village does. So if the trek to the city, a short wait for food,  or the crowds bother you, come visit us in Brooklyn where the pace is a little bit slower….

Please know we are doing our very best to accommodate all of our new customers, and trying to keep up with the demand for Fried Chicken and Cobbler!  The food is made fresh continually throughout the day, so there may be a wait for our most popular dishes if you come visit us on a weekend.   We are a counter service restaurant, so when you come in, just come up to the counter and chat with one of my dear counter people, and they will walk you through how Mama’s does things.
