Hey everybody!

Thanks so much for coming into Mama’s Food Shop after seeing us on the Food Network! We love having you in our dining rooms and all of the positive feedback you have been giving us- we really appreciate it!

Remember, we do have a second location in Williamsburg Brooklyn which serves the same delicious home cookin’ that the East Village does. So if the trek to the city, a short wait for food,  or the crowds bother you, come visit us in Brooklyn where the pace is a little bit slower….

Please know we are doing our very best to accommodate all of our new customers, and trying to keep up with the demand for Fried Chicken and Cobbler!  The food is made fresh continually throughout the day, so there may be a wait for our most popular dishes if you come visit us on a weekend.   We are a counter service restaurant, so when you come in, just come up to the counter and chat with one of my dear counter people, and they will walk you through how Mama’s does things.
